Elizabeth “Lisa” Hughes gave us an introduction to her company, Hughes & Bentzen PLLC. Hughes & Bentzen is comprised of a select number of attorneys with expertise in over twenty areas of the law.
The expertise of the firm includes traditional subjects like trusts and wills as well as newer fields such as privacy law. Lisa touched on the specialties of each of the lawyers at the firm. Each of the firm’s layers have been practicing the law for a decade or more; the firm’s founders, Geroge Hughes & Mike Bentzen, bring over 80 years of experience to H&B.
One area of special expertise for H&B is adoption. The firm has successfully assisted families in the District and Maryland, and supports organizations that promote adoption. Lisa’s own areas of expertise include insurance, personal injury and employment law.
Lisa concluded by discussing the relationship that her firm builds with clients It’s a level of service that lends meaning to the word “Counsel”. H&B as a firm does more than dispense legal advice to their clients. “We tell all our clients, Call Us FIrst,” Lisa says.
